BOGNER joins ShopAgentic as one of the first design customers - live on stage at the Agentic Commerce Day, October 8 in Munich

BOGNER is one of the first design customers of ShopAgentic, working with our first team of agents - Catalog Intelligence. BOGNER keeps the shop its team already runs: the Catalog Intelligence squad comes in alongside it ('Add agent power') and takes over the work around product data, getting it to a state where AI agents like ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Instinct and Muse can understand it, describe it correctly and recommend it, with GEO handled in one workflow. Each agent in the squad owns one clearly defined job - what goes live is BOGNER's call. On October 8, Benjamin Messner, Director E-Commerce at BOGNER, joins us on stage during our session at 5 pm to share what the first months looked like: how quickly the squad was up and running, what we learned along the way, and what's next. Agentic Commerce is the shift that changes who buys - and A!-Day in Munich on October 8 is the place to see what preparing for it looks like in practice.

    CV Summit 2026 Panel·September 30, 2026

Agents That Transact: Agentic Payments - Alexander Ringsdorff on the CV Summit 2026 Anchor Stage

Alexander Ringsdorff joined the 'Agents That Transact: Agentic Payments' panel on the Anchor Stage at CV Summit 2026, moderated by Stefan Grasmann (Stefan Grasmann Advisory), alongside Luis Schaubhut (AllUnity), Shyam Duraiswami (Provably) and Benjamin J. Richter (Nexi Group). The panel explored a shift the panelists called genuinely new: it is not how people shop that is changing, it is who is shopping. Product catalogs are being enriched a hundredfold with facts agents actually need, and agents want a shop's payment capabilities laid out as structured data they can act on. A recurring theme was verifiable proof - infrastructure that lets agents show what actually happened in a dispute, an email, a log or a billing record. One guardrail already in use: agents are not handed open wallets; they are authorized for a single transaction at a time, often via one-time virtual cards, with a human still accountable for what they are allowed to spend.

    Keynote·September 23, 2026

Amazon said no. Shopify said yes. What's your answer? - Kai-Thomas Krause's DMEXCO 2026 opening keynote

ShopAgentic co-founder Kai-Thomas Krause delivered the opening keynote on the DMEXCO 2026 Commerce Stage in Cologne. He unpacks the 14 days after Meta launched Muse - the personal AI agent that Amazon blocked while Shopify, PayPal and others opened their doors within days - why in-chat checkout stalled while AI-driven discovery exploded, and why the bot you are blocking may be your best-converting customer. The talk closes with five moves for Monday morning that decide whether your customer's agent can buy from you or from someone else. The full recording is now available on YouTube and LinkedIn.

The company also announced it is working with AllUnity - the BaFin-licensed joint venture of DWS, Flow Traders and Galaxy - on agent payments via the x402 standard, settled in euro. Lindner's investment underlines the structural shift from human-driven commerce to agentic commerce, where buying decisions are made by AI agents rather than people.

    FAQ

    For journalists & analysts

    Who founded ShopAgentic?

ShopAgentic was founded by Alexander Ringsdorff and Kai-Thomas Krause, two of the most experienced e-commerce entrepreneurs in the German-speaking market. The company is headquartered in Hannover, Germany, with team members in Berlin and Amsterdam.

    What does ShopAgentic do?

ShopAgentic is a native agentic commerce platform. It gives merchants a team of specialized AI agents that own end-to-end jobs across catalog enrichment, marketplace and channel feeds, content, chat and voice - so online stores run as a coordinated AI team rather than a stack of dashboards.
